WHAT IS A FORECLOSURE PROPERTY?
Foreclosures are out there right now and offer fantastic deals for homebuyers interested in putting in some fix up and elbow grease into a property they purchase.
Foreclosure Definition: A foreclosure is Real Estate Owned by a bank. The prior owner was unable or unwilling to make the mortgage payments on the property and over a period of several months the bank foreclosed on the property. The prior owner no longer owns the proeprty. The prior owner could have been evicted from the property or if it was a rental situation the current renter may still be in the property. It is a sad situation for the prior owner and will affect their credit negatively but it is in the past. That owner is beyond help at this point.
